Shuttle Traffic for August 2016

August 2016 saw record-breaking monthly Truck Shuttle traffic for the tenth consecutive month, compared to the corresponding period in previous years. Traffic saw a 24% increase compared to the month of August 2015, with 126,769 vehicles transported. For the period January-August 2016, there has been a 12% increase in traffic compared with the same period of 2015.

In terms of cars, Passenger Shuttle traffic saw a slight decrease (-3%) compared to the month of August 2015, with 347,920 vehicles transported, due to the unfavourable calendar effect (only 4 weekends in August 2016, compared to 5 weekends in August 2015). For the period January-August 2016, there has been a 1% increase in traffic compared with the same period of 2015.

The figures for the month of September will be published on Monday 10 October 2016 prior to the opening of trading.
