Olivier Linchet appointed Manager, Major Accounts France and Southern Belgium, for Eurotunnel Truck Shuttle Service
Olivier Linchet (33) gained his Masters Degree in Strategic Management at the University of Staffordshire; he has a DESS in International Commerce and a DEA in Economics and Applied Statistics from the University of Science and Technology in Lille, France.
He started his career in 2000 with the Management Consultants, Triangle, specializing in communications, express courier services and air freight. In 2005 he joined Deutsche Post Global Mail, France, SAS Services as Major Accounts Manager, where he worked on the management of international direct marketing and distribution campaigns.
Following several years experience in freight transport and marketing, and seeking to further expand his experience, Olivier Linchet has joined Eurotunnel, the leader in the cross-Channel market and a pioneer in sustainable development. Eurotunnel is the only cross-Channel operator to have achieved the Carbon Trust Standard accreditation.
Eurotunnel (Euronext Paris: GET, and London Stock Exchange: GETS) manages the infrastructure of the Channel Tunnel and operates two types of Shuttle: Lorry carrying Truck Shuttles and car and coach carrying Passenger Shuttles, between Folkestone, Kent and Coquelles, Pas-de-Calais.
