Jacques Maillot resigns from Eurotunnel Joint Board

Jacques Maillot, who was replaced as Chairman of the Joint Board of Eurotunnel on 18 February 2004, has today resigned his position as a director of the company.

The Joint Board of Eurotunnel has thanked Jacques Maillot for his services to the company since the 7^th April 2004.

Jacques Maillot has indicated that he will remain available to assist Eurotunnel in any way necessary and that he supports the board and management in their continuing efforts to solve the problem of the company’s debt.
