Eurotunnel welcomes Lower Thames Crossing announcement
Eurotunnel today welcomed the announcement by the Secretary of State for Transport that the route for the Lower Thames Crossing has been selected.
The Lower Thames Crossing is part of the vital trade route through the Channel Tunnel to Europe that provides supply chain access for the UK's industries, the shortest and fastest route to markets in Continental Europe for exports, and the critical fast and reliable entry point for internet retail, fresh produce and medical supplies from continental neighbours.
